Alvaro Alban, MD
Alvaro Alban, MD is Board-Certified in Emergency Medicine. Dr. Alban earned his Medical Degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he was awarded a scholarship. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Cornell University. Dr. Alban completed his Emergency Medicine Residency from Jacobi Medical Center and Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY. He completed one year of Internal Medicine training at Mount Sinai at Cabrini Medical Center in NY and a Molecular Immunology Research Fellowship at Cornell University.
Dr. Alban is fluent in English and Spanish. He has a special interest in teen obesity programs. His wide range of personal interests include motorcycling, bird breeding, chess, scuba-diving, hiking, and furniture design.
Alvin Goldberg, MD
Alvin Goldberg, MD has spent the last 18 years as a medical director of numerous hospital emergency departments in New Jersey. Dr. Goldberg is trained in Family Practice and is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine. He is also a fellow of the American Academy of Emergency Physicians. He is a graduate of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, NJ.
Dr. Goldberg enjoys motorcycling, boating, and spending time with his family.
Jacqueline Denise Nunez, MD
Jacqueline Denise Nunez, MD is Board-Certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Nunez earned her Medical Degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, NJ. She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Yale University. Dr. Nunez completed her Family Practice Residency at Mountainside Family Practice in Verona, NJ.
Dr. Nunez is fluent in English and Spanish. She has a special interest in Women's Health. Her personal interests include, but are not limited to, natural health, yoga, and anything related to children.
James Thomas LoVerde, MD
James Thomas LoVerde, MD is a Board-Certified Internist with over twenty years experience in Primary Care and Occupational Medicine. Dr. LoVerde received his BS degree in biology and health education from Montclair State University and his MD degree from UMDNJ in Newark, NJ. His residency in Internal Medicine was completed at University Hospital in Newark. Dr. LoVerde's interests include Primary Care, Occupational, and Travel Medicine, along with Concussion Management. He is a Certified Medical Review Officer and Impact Concussion Management Specialist.
A long time resident of Bergen County, Dr. LoVerde was raised in Emerson and currently resides in Mahwah. His hobbies include working out, music and sports memorabilia collecting, featuring his beloved New York Yankees. Dr. LoVerde spends time supporting animal rights and caring for his three dogs- Mickey, Whitey and Scooter.
Susan L. Cecere, MD
Susan L. Cecere, MD is Board-Certified in Emergency Medicine. Dr. Cecere earned her medical degree from UMDNJ- New Jersey Medical School. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Virginia. Dr. Cecere completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at Morristown Memorial Hospital. Dr. Cecere was employed as an Emergency Physician at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ through 2006 and is a solo practitioner providing house calls in her community.
Dr. Cecere's interests include sports related head injury with training in concussion management using the ImPACT program. Additional interests include holistic health with training in Total Body Reactivation, an approach to correcting energetic dysfunction in the body. Dr. Cecere enjoys various types of exercise, platform tennis, golf, coaching her childrens' sports teams and spending time with family and friends.
